Circle Economy

1. How do you work with the circular economy today?
Circle Economy is a global impact foundation. We have been working on the topic for the last 10 years. Today we work with multinational businesses, nations, cities, and regions on their circular transition. We develop practical and scalable insights and solutions to stay on top of the momentum. Our mission is to double the global circularity in the next 10 years. We work on individual client assignments, as well as in global initiatives that are shaping the world of the circular economy. We do everything from analysis, consultancy, advocacy, change management, to stakeholder engagement.

2. Why do you become a member of Cradlenet?
Because collaboration and networks are key to tackling climate change. We also started an office in Gothenburg, to support Nordics better with what we do. We think Cradlenet is a great place to meet others, identify synergies, partners, and co-create what needs to be done! We are also hoping to learn more about what is going on, and about the Swedish (circular) culture. We want Sweden and Nordics to know that we are here for them, and we are here to listen, get inspired, and help with the tools and services we have developed.

3. Do you have a circular initiative that you are extra proud of?
Personally, I am super proud of almost everything we do. We have worked with more than 40 cities across the globe on setting their circular vision, from Amsterdam, through Zurich, to London.  We measure how circular is our planet every year, thanks to our Circularity Gap Report Initiative. We also do this on a national level, for example in Norway, Netherlands, or Austria, and we will publish our report about Sweden together with RISE the 21st of April 2022! And we have helped more than 80 global companies in their circular journey thanks to our Circle Scan. I am really happy that we have already found Swedish clients and partners to accelerate our work here in the Nordics. And there is a lot that will happen this year here in Sweden and around, so stay tuned. :)
